WOW! Awesome gallery here! I enjoyed faving and looking at all of your pictures, including the photographs! Absolutely amazing talent and skill. Must watch you now!
I had this beautiful hybrid Iris in my garden that I really wanted to photograph. I wanted it to be a close-up detail photograph, but it turned out really blurry. It wasn't a digital camera...at least it didn't have a preview screen. But I'm saddened at the missed chance. I'm hoping it'll grow back next year so I can retake it. But, do you need a special camera to get those amazing detail shots?
Hey there! Its not so much the camera thats the problem as the lense. You need a decent zoom lense to get good macro. Like i have a really small crappy one, so i have to get riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight in there to the bugs, hold the camera pretty steady and take a handful of shots for each subject, to help ensure at least one of em is usable. And generally speaking digital cameras are not as forgiving when it comes to camera shake, or focus levels.
I think its a good idea to get a digital cam. Erm.. you can get em fairly cheap now, and the difference in ease and quality of the shots is, in my experience, much better :)
oh, sorry it took so long to reply. Thank you for the advice! I also have some Bleeding heart flowers in my front yard and I took a few pictures with my digital camera then I got a friend of mine to come over and let me use her camera for it. i have it posted on my account and in a few clubs. Hope you see it! ^^
